Hi, I’m Rebecca!
Strategic, research-driven UX designer building on a background in healthcare. Passionate about turning data into meaningful, measurable experiences. Skilled in facilitation, stakeholder engagement, leadership, and storytelling, I craft solutions that drive impact.
I hold a Master of Science Degree in User Experience Design from the Institute of Art, Design and Technology. I am a User Experience Designer and Researcher building on a background in healthcare.

My Story
I decided to change careers in 2020. I am a registered nurse and worked as a childrens nurse in Australia and Ireland for 3 years prior to this.
I received a First Class Honours in my Master of Science Degree in User Experience Design from IADT in 2023. I previously completed a one year Level 7 Certificate in User Experience Design at DKIT.

As a former nurse, I hold a lot of relevant transferrable skills which make me a great UX designer.

Mentoring
This year I have started volunteering in the UX Tree mentorship programme, designed to support budding UX designers breaking into the field of UX.
I am very passionate about being a part of the UX community and get a real sense of reward and achievement in helping others to grow their skillset and confidence.

I won the Student of The Year award in November 2023 in the UX Design MSc program at IADT for highest academic achievements.
Best Mentor Award UX Tree
I won the Best Mentor award in Round 7 of the UX Tree program in December 2024.

My mentee and I won the Best Mentor & Mentee Duo award won the best in Round 7 of the UX Tree program in December 2024.
